Vinothek W-Einehr

Along a quiet road in the backstreets of the city centre you’ll find the delightful wine shop and bar Vinothek W-Einkehr. Here they specialise in Austrian wines and offer an extensive range of wines by the glass to tempt you. Have a chat to one of the friendly and enthusiastic staff members and they will introduce you to some excellent wines. The bar also offers delicious charcuterie boards and more substantial meals to nibble on while you savour your wine. The shop has a lovely atmosphere and it’s a delight to sit at the large, central table (with its unique rows of corks), surrounded by wine bottles and relax with a glass of wine after a day of busy sightseeing.


Die Weinorgel

In the heart of the bustling 1st district you can find the charming Die Weinorgel wine bar. Housed in the Gothic cloister vault of a 13th century inn, Die Weinorgel oozes history and charm with ancient timber floors, curved vaulted ceilings and the amazing namesake wine organ. The wooden carousel organ sits behind the bar and each hour carved figures move and dance with the rhythm of organ music. The bar serves a great selection of reasonably priced Austrian and European wines by the glass along with some tasting plates to nibble on. Bowls of peanuts are scattered throughout the bar and you are encouraged to throw your peanut shells onto the floor!
