Berlin



Following a tumultuous period of modern history, Berlin has emerged as a vibrant and culturally rich capital of Germany. Eighty percent of the city was destroyed during WWII and following the war, up until 1989, the city was divided into two different states, East Berlin and West Berlin, separated by the infamous Berlin Wall. Today, Berlin is one of the most modern, safe and exciting cities to visit in Europe. From the world class museums of Museum Island, to the historic Brandenburg Gate and sobering Holocaust Memorial, to the best nightlife in the world, Berlin is a unique city with something for everyone.
