Tribaun

Tribaun is a beer lovers paradise, a craft beer bar offering over twenty different beers on tap from excellent breweries throughout Austria and Europe. Situated in a long underground cellar with curved vaulted ceilings and long timber tables, the space is dominated by the long bar with its 18 shiny brass beer taps. The beers on offer change regularly and screens above the bar indicate what is pouring at the moment. Feel free to talk to one of the knowledgeable staff members for help navigating the selection. On any one day options range from wheat beers and pale ales to more unique options like green tea saison and tart lychee elderberry double IPA.


Invinum

In the heart of the Old Town, just a stone’s throw from the Golden Roof, you’ll find the cosy wine bar and shop, Invinum. Specialising in Austrian wines, each month 12 new red, white and sparkling wines are showcased at excellent prices. Pop in for a glass or two, or do a structured tasting of seven wines. The friendly and knowledgeable staff will talk you through the options on offer and will serve up tasty plates of cheese, prosciutto and olives to accompany the wines. In the warmer months, sit at one of the outside tables on the cobblestones and drink in the glorious Old Town atmosphere.


Dom Café-Bar

On a quiet side-street in the centre of the Old Town, just opposite the Innsbruck Cathedral (the bar’s namesake), the Dom Café-Bar is a casual and friendly spot to have a drink. Inside, the bar is full of Gothic character, with vaulted ceilings, wood panelled walls and opulent chandeliers. The extensive menu features local beers and wines along with classic cocktails. In the centre of town but away from the crowds, it’s a great place for a rejuvenating afternoon drink after a busy day of sightseeing.


Liquid Diary

On a lovely street corner in the picturesque Old Town, you can find the outstanding Liquid Diary cocktail bar. Full of character, the bar has dark timber floors, a chic central bar with gorgeous Thonet stools, window seats with plush red velvet banquettes and ornate golden chandeliers. One wall is dominated by a gorgeous ‘Jungle Book’ inspired painting that tempts you to try something exotic and adventurous.
