Restaurant U Modre Kachnicky II

U Modre Kachnicky II, The Blue Duckling, is a traditional Czech restaurant located along a quaint cobblestoned lane in the heart of the Old Town, just a few minutes’ walk from the historic Old Town Square. Inside, the décor is characterfully rustic with peach walls, antique furniture, and white linen tablecloths. The restaurant specialises in duck and game dishes and serves tasty, hearty portions using excellent quality ingredients from local suppliers. There is an extensive a la carte menu and a degustation menu on offer but the roasting pan for two is the perfect way to try the variety on offer, featuring delicious roast duck, rabbit leg, roasted pork and leg of venison along with a range of side dishes. The service is excellent and most nights there is a pianist tickling the ivories, creating a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere.
